Monday was my birthday. A bunch of friends and I went to Kamakura for dinner. It was a lot of fun and we ended up knowing everyone at our table. Andrew, Dave (Kenny), Eric, Kanisha, Crissy and I were planning on going. One of Crissy’s co-workers, fiancee, and her mother actually ended up at our table. I got the 3 samuri. It was steak, chicken, and shrimp. It was really good. I also tried a little bit of sushi and saki. Neither of which I have tried before. The sushi wasn’t bad. But I don’t see the big fuss everyone seems to have about it. I liked the saki, however, we probably didn’t need the large one. All in all it was a good birthday.
Last night, my parents came down and we went to Alexanders for dinner. It was good too. I like being able to cook my own food on the grill. I had a piece of steak that had a seasoning called Santa Maria. I really liked the seasoning.
