Crissy and I finally have found a new mattress. It should be here within 7-10 days. I can’t wait to get it. Our old bed is getting pretty uncomfortable.

I got most of the parts for my new computer for Christmas. I had to order a new power supply(Enermax 620W), but it got here and now my computer is running. I got a new motherboard and dual xeon processors (3.0 GHz) and 2 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, I don’t have a new video card for it. So, its running with my old ATI XPERT 128. I think I have 16MB of memory on it. I hope to swap out the video card soon and then later I want to change the hard drives to SATA drives.
There have been a lot of people complaining about stores using “Happy Holidays” recently. I prefer “Merry Christmas” and “Happy New Year,” but at least they are trying to be nice. On to more fun thoughts, today is going to be fun. I have a Turkey in my fridge and its stuffed full. I was on call this year, so we had to Christmas down at my house. Turkey and stuffing is one of my favorite meals. I spent a couple of hours last night making the dressing and getting the turkey ready to just throw in the oven.
The Illini definitely secured braggin rights for their fans last night. They destroyed Missouri by a score of 82-50. Now we’re at 12-0.
I’ve found that it works better when you remember to put water in its reservior. It has a 1.75 gallon reservior and can go through 3 gallons in a day. That means I have to fill it up pretty often. I think once we get the humidity up for a while it will stop using so much water.
I’m going to go play trivia tonight. My goal is not to win but to beat Dave 
Ok, I went to check on why the Christmas lights I have on the ground stopped working last night. I checked the extension cord on two different strands of lights and tried the extension cord that connected the broken lights on another strand. Everything worked except the lights on the ground. After I started walking the length of the lights, I found that a stupid animal (likely the rabbit I’ve seen in the yard) had eaten through all three wires. It’s lucky I didn’t find fried rabbit by the string. I think I might let the dogs chase the rabbits in the backyard now…
I wonder how long its going to take me to get tired of talking about my humidifier. I haven’t shocked the dogs since at least yesterday, and believe me that’s a long time. It sure is going through a lot of water. I guess it is actually working.
The Illini are looking good. I told a lot of people at the beginning of the season that they would be better than most people were expecting. So far, I think they are proving me right. With the win last night against Coppin St, they are at 11-0. Now I just have to wait until Wednesday when they face off against Missouri.
I meant to put this up last night. I really like the way the Bears are playing right now. I think defense is the biggest key in football. I’m surprised that Grossman knocked Orton out of starting so quickly. I know Orton wasn’t playing very well, but I’m surprised that Grossman started out the second half with the Bears beating the Falcons. I haven’t been the biggest fan of Grossman, but I admit the offense looked like it was starting to click when he came into the game. Go Bears!!! It looks like a playoff spot is pretty certain and they could very likely get a bye for the first week in the playoffs. That would be cool.
